Pilot Pariksha is a DGCA ground-school coaching institute run by One-on-One Aviation, New Delhi, India ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Pilot Pariksha student app (Android package com.pilotpariksha.study), the student portal at study.pilotpariksha.com and this website. It explains what we collect, why, who it goes to, how long we keep it, and how you can have it deleted. Our separate question-bank practice platform and its app ("Pilot Pariksha - Practice") are covered by their own policy.
Student accounts are created by our office when you enrol. We hold your name, email address, mobile number, username and password (stored only as a one-way hash), and, if you add one, a profile photo. To run your course we also record your enrolled subjects, batch, training stage, exam plans and outcomes, DGCA papers you have cleared and, if you give them to us, your DGCA computer number, where you did flying training or a type rating, and an airline placement. Our staff may keep notes about your training and a log of when they contacted you.
Chapter progress and checklist steps, tasks and what you submit for them, class confirmations and attendance, recordings you mark watched, weekly-test and exam results, doubts you post and the replies, and the times you sign in (and whether from the app or the website) and take learning actions, so your instructors can see who needs help and we can see whether new students get started.
Our office records your course fee, amounts paid, due and paid dates and the payment method (for example cash, UPI or bank transfer). The app does not take payments, and we do not receive card, UPI PIN or banking credentials through it.
If you send an enquiry through this website, we keep the name, phone number and message you give us so we can reply, along with our follow-up notes.
If the assistant is switched on and you use it, the question you type and a short summary of your own study record (your name, subjects, chapters, training stage and cleared papers) are sent to our AI provider to produce the answer. We keep a log of assistant requests for safety. The assistant can only read; it cannot change your record.
We do not collect your location, contacts, or files from your phone other than a photo you choose to upload. The app shows no advertising and does not use an advertising ID.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Your record is visible to you and to our staff who run your course (the owner and the instructors or co-admins they authorise). Co-admins never see fees. Other current students enrolled in the same subject can see your name and your chapter-completion percentage for that subject in the study-group section.
We share data only with service providers that run the service for us, and only what they need:
We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Access is limited to authorised staff. No system is completely secure, so please tell us at once if you think your account has been misused.
We keep your account while you study with us. When you finish, we keep your record as an alumnus (so you can still sign in and revise) until you ask us to delete it. Fee records are kept for as long as Indian accounting and tax law requires. Enquiries that did not lead to enrolment are kept until you ask us to delete them.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time: in the app under Account & privacy, on our account deletion page, or by email to support@pilotpariksha.com. The deletion page lists exactly what is deleted and the little that is kept.
Email support@pilotpariksha.com for any of these, or with any privacy concern or complaint.
Our courses are for students aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect personal data from, anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
The website and portal use cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in will then not work.
The portal links to other services such as Google Meet, YouTube, Google Drive and WhatsApp. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
